Lessons typically start as soon as Hillsborough Township Public Schools go on summer break (June 20, 2025). We may be able to accommodate some lessons before than, but it is not guaranteed.
There will be no group swim lessons this year. Last year there was a very high demand for private lessons, so we have revamped our program to accommodate and dedicate our staff to private instruction.

All non-members have the option to purchase up to 4 Family Day Guest Passes with every Private Swim Lesson Purchase. Guest Passes MUST be purchased as part of the swim lessons registration and cannot be purchased separately or after the fact (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Objective of Roycefield Swim Lessons:
At Roycefield we are committed to building a safe pool with smart swimmers! Lessons are open to children 4 and up and all swimming abilities. Water safety is also an integral part of the program at every level.
If you are signing your child up for Swim Lessons, please indicate the level that you think they will best fit in. On the first day of lessons we assess each swimmer to ensure that they are placed in the correct level, and the Swim Lessons Coordinators reserve the right to move a child to ensure they are in the appropriate level. If you are concerned that your swimmer does not fit in any of these levels, please feel free to contact the Swim Lessons Coordinators and they will try to accommodate you! All ages and swimming abilities are welcome!

After your child has been accepted into the swim lessons program and payment has been collected, our swim lessons coordinator(s) will pair your child with a swim lesson instructor, who will be in contact with you. The swim lesson instructor will then determine the times and dates that are mutually available.
Please fill out the registration form below with a suggested level for your child. Also, please indicate any time or day preferences you may have. We will try to honor any special requests, but cannot guarantee special accommodations.
The minimum age for private lessons is 4 years old.

The link to the registration form can be found at the bottom of this page. Please click on the link and fill out the registration form completely. This year we are collecting payment as part of the registration process to make things a bit smoother. Once your child has been accepted into the Private Swim Lessons program, a Swim Lessons Instructor will be assigned to you, and dates / times of you/ your child’s lessons can be mutually agreed upon between you and your assigned Instructor. If for some reason we cannot accommodate your request due to scheduling availability, we will fully refund your payment.
